OnCentive and Hire Heroes USA Launch Employer Education Module

OnCentive, the nation’s leading tax credit consultancy, together with Hire Heroes USA, a nonprofit organization committed to veteran career placement, unveiled a new employer training module at the Second Annual "Salute to Our Heroes" charity event yesterday.

The educational initiative aims to equip employers with resources to aid them in understanding the significant advantages of hiring veterans. It also explains the financial incentives available through the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) program.

WOTC, a federal hiring incentive, rewards employers who hire individuals from several eligibility groups, including veterans. The program provides potential tax credits between $1,200 to $9,600 per qualified new hire, making it financially advantageous for companies to recruit and hire veterans.

The launch of this collaborative module marks a significant step in OnCentive's commitment to social responsibility and Hire Heroes USA's mission to assist military veterans transitioning into the civilian workforce.

"We're incredibly proud to partner with Hire Heroes USA on this essential initiative," said Shannon Scott, CEO of OnCentive. "We believe strongly in the value that veterans bring to the workplace, and we're committed to helping other companies realize this potential."

The newly introduced employer training module is available on the Hire Heroes USA platform. It seeks to broaden employers' perspectives about the unique skills and experiences that veterans bring to the workplace while providing them with the tools to leverage the WOTC program effectively.

"We are thrilled to announce the launch of this new employer education module in partnership with OnCentive," said Hire Heroes USA CEO Andrew Sandoe. “By equipping employers with the knowledge and resources they need to understand the advantages of hiring veterans, including the Work Opportunity Tax Credit program, we are paving the way for increased employment opportunities for our nation's heroes."

The collaboration between OnCentive and Hire Heroes USA is a testament to the power of partnership, providing a tangible benefit to employers, veterans, and the broader community.
